Pause for Hope - A service for all affected by cancer
All are welcome to attend this special service of candles, music and prayer for those affected by cancer – whether personally or through a loved one or family member.
It is an ecumenical service which has taken place in a number of cities, and in Birmingham was last held at St Chad’s in 2019. Its purpose is to offer space for people to reflect and to pray, with hymns, candles, and Scripture, and to offer hope amidst all they may be going through.
No tickets are necessary – people are most welcome simply to turn up on the day. We are also inviting civic dignitaries along with representatives of hospitals and cancer charities, to attend in person if they can.
It will also be live streamed via the YouTube link below.
