Polesworth Deanery Tercentenary Pilgrimage
1.00-1.30pm Arrival and Mini guided tour of the Cathedral lead by Cathedral Staff. (Please note significant building work is in progress which will mean some of the cathedral is not accessible).
1.30-2.00pm Refreshments (tea and cake/fruit)
2.00-3.00pm Service – to include hymns, prayers, an ‘Open the Book’ presentation, and Address by Bishop David
3.00pm Depart the Cathedral

Revd. Louise Shaw from Dosthill, Revd John White Kingsbury, Ben and Chris from Polesworth and the Youth Group from Amington will be walking and praying their way along the canal tow path into Birmingham – they may be able to meet up with Bishop David on the approach to the cathedral --this is to be confirmed.
Amington Youth Group are walking in two stages and will leave the Hare and Hounds pub in Minworth at 10.30 am on the 13th. You are invited to join with them.
For those who wish to go by train, it is suggested to catch either the 11.58am or 12.25pm from Coleshill Parkway (arriving Birmingham New Street at either 12.14 or 12.38pm) and taking a slow-ish/slightly faster walk uphill to the Cathedral. Then returning from Birmingham New Street on either the 15.22 or 15.52 trains, arriving back at Coleshill Parkway at either 15.35 or 16.06.
A 116 Arriva bus goes from Tamworth through Dosthill and Kingsbury terminating at the Square Peg in Bull street Birmingham—just a short walk from the Cathedral.
