Tercentenary Lecture Series: Music in 18th Century Birmingham by Martin Perkins

First home to the Birmingham Triennial music festivals, Birmingham Cathedral has a long tradition of a place of great music. Martin Perkins, harpsichordist and music historian, explores the music audiences in Birmingham in the C18th would have been familiar with. Martin will give a taste of rarely heard works by John Pixell, Richard Mudge, Joseph Harris, and Barnabas Gunn via CD.

Martin is an engaging speaker with recent appearances on national radio.

Please note this event does not take place in the cathedral but in 1 Colmore Row (left of Waitrose by the entrance to Snow Hill Station)

Time 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
