Pray - Serve - Grow

Unlocking the potential of people – unlocking the potential of our building – unlocking the gospel

Birmingham Cathedral is a small cathedral in a big city. We are a humble yet beautiful building inhabited by a similarly humble and beautiful congregation and staff team. There is huge ambition within these walls, and within this city – a strong sense of social justice, a passion for supporting those who are marginalised within the city, a commitment to celebrating all that is wonderful in our diverse city and diocese, a drive for our cathedral to be fully representative of the community we serve, and an unwavering desire to share God’s love, and the good news of the gospel with a spirit of servitude.

The cathedral successfully applied for support from the Cathedral Sustainability Fund and developed The Key Project in 2021 with one aim - to enhance the visitor experience whilst enhancing volunteering opportunities.
