We look forward to welcoming you!

The cathedral building is open and staffed from 7.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and 7.30am to 5.00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Click on the services tab to find out about our regular pattern of services.

There are free short guided tours of the cathedral most Mondays at 12.30pm and Wednesdays at 11.30am. Please check the events page. Tours last about 30 mins.

We regularly provide guided tours for groups. We have an in-house education team who can provide tours to schools, with an emphasis on covering the appropriate areas of the national curriculum. If you would like to book a tour or a talk for a group of people, please use the form at the bottom of this page.

By train

Birmingham New Street Station

Once entering the station concourse, follow the escalators up to the Pallasades Shopping Centre towards New Street. At the bottom of the ramp (next to HSBC) take a left, across the road and continue down New Street until you come to Tesco (right hand side), turn right, and the Cathedral is at the top of the hill.

Birmingham Snow Hill Station

Looking to your right, the Cathedral is diagonally opposite the exit of this station.

By car

There is very limited on street parking near the cathedral, so we recommend parking at Snow Hill Station, off Livery Street.
